🚀 Exciting News from Nagi Bioscience! 🚀 We’re thrilled to announce the kick off of our exclusive Priority Access Program, bringing revolutionary SydLab™ One platform to 5 leading academic labs for C. elegans research! 🌍 SydLab™ One, a pioneering lab-on-a-device solution for automated #Celegans research, is a first-of-its-kind platform designed to transform and advance biological research, #drugdiscovery, and #safetyassessment.   The participating research groups, recognized for their leadership in the fields of #oncology, #neurodegenerative diseases, #aging, and #toxicology, will be the first academic groups to integrate SydLab™ One into their facilities. Through this program, they will gain access to the fully automated, end-to-end solution that incorporates cutting-edge microfluidics, robotics, optics, and AI algorithms, accelerating scientific discovery and improving research precision and reproducibility.   The installations begun this month, providing access to the benchtop platform to support high-impact research projects. We are thrilled to welcome Konstantinos Palikaras’ Lab from the Unit of Neurogenetics and Ageing, Laboratory of Physiology, at Ιατρική Σχολή ΕΚΠΑ/ NKUA Medical School to the SydLab™ One Priority Access Program! 🧠 Under the leadership of Professor Palikaras, their cutting-edge research focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms behind age-related deterioration of the #nervoussystem, with a special focus on #mitochondrial quality control mechanisms. 🔬 Their project will harness the power of the SydLab™ One platform to screen 20 naturally occurring compounds for their effects on #longevity and #healthspan in #Celegans. Additionally, the lab will investigate the therapeutic potential of these compounds in #Alzheimer's disease nematode models, specifically those expressing beta-amyloid and Tau proteins. 💬 "Using the SydLab™ One platform, we will evaluate the mitophagy induction and neuroprotective capacities of these compounds, providing insights into their potential to ameliorate neurodegenerative symptoms associated with Alzheimer's disease." - Professor Konstantinos Palikaras, Group Leader.
