At Nolato, we see waste not as a burden but as an opportunity. By recycling directly on-site, we’re reducing our environmental impact and supporting a circular economy. A great example of this is our production plant in Hungary, where 87% of our waste—including plastic, paper, packaging, metal, and even electronic waste—is sold to a company that processes it for recycling and reuse. What makes this even more efficient? The company operates on-site at our production facility, ensuring that waste is sorted, baled, and prepared for further processing right where it’s generated. Several of our companies have teamed up to invest in an acoustic camera that detects air leaks in compressed air and vacuum systems—systems that can be costly and energy-intensive when leaks go unnoticed.
