We recently hosted the prototyping bootcamp as part of the Digital Health Nation Innovation Booster, powered by Innosuisse. The bootcamp is designed to support startups in advancing their projects by focusing on practical innovation techniques. Curious about what happened during the 2-day on-site bootcamp? 💡 1️⃣ Day 1 focused on risk evaluation and experiment design, led by Aurélie Moser 🚀 . The objective was to help teams identify their highest-risk assumptions and design experiments to validate their ideas early on. This approach enables participants to make data-driven decisions, reduce uncertainty, and concentrate their efforts where they are most needed.    2️⃣ Day 2 was dedicated to refining current concepts through the lens of user experience, where in a design studio setup Peter Hess and Florian Weber coached the teams. Some of them focused on mapping the user journey, some started with a focus on empathy map and some deep dived in developing their no-code prototype with an immediate feedback from peers and experts in the room. This summer, 20 dynamic teams embarked on their acceleration journey with Digital Health Nation Innovation Booster powered by Innosuisse. Intellectual Property Strategy 🚀    We are excited to share highlights from our recent webinar with Tarik Kapić from BRAUNPAT AG. Hosted by Digital Health Nation Innovation Booster powered by Innosuisse, the session provided to its current cohort and alumni valuable insights into the world of Intellectual Property (IP) demystifying it and providing strategic insights into how start-ups can protect their innovations, leverage IP assets, and avoid common pitfalls.     Tarik Kapić is a Swiss and European Patent Attorney and the President of the Board BRAUNPAT. He gave a detailed overview of IP, explaining its importance in law, trade, and commerce. He clarified the differences between copyrights, patents, trademarks, and designs, and discussed how each helps protect innovations and enhance business value. Participants learned about the crucial role of IP in securing R&D investments and guarding against competition.     Teams got practical advice on trademark registration, highlighting the importance of timing and market readiness.  The expert also explained how to avoid IP conflicts and the WIPO process for obtaining patents and trademarks in multiple countries, helping participants navigate multi-country IP protection. 💡 Innovation teams left this webinar with a deeper understanding of how to develop an IP strategy that aligns with their business objectives and how to handle potential patent conflicts and trademark issues, the level of detail required for software patents and the knowledge needed to thrive in the competitive market.    Thank you to Tarik Kapić for the expertise and to all attendees for their participation. 🚀 "Feasibility" Bootcamp Highlights #swissinnovationbooster    Digital Health Nation Innovation Booster, powered by Innosuisse is supporting radical ideas. This initiative not only nurtures innovation, but also fosters a collaborative environment where pioneering solutions in digital health can thrive and make a real-world impact. This year we selected an inspiring cohort of 20 projects and invited them to the 2-days “Feasibility” bootcamp. Before diving in, teams got access to the Bambooster online Academy, where they did their homework and came in prepared for some intense sessions during the onside event lead by Aurélie Moser 🚀 and Yana Yoncheva.    👍 Day 1 was all about getting to know each other and building trust, falling on love with the problem and getting a deeper understanding of it through feedback loops and design thinking methodology. We dug deep into stakeholder mapping, ecosystem analysis, customer profile analysis and worked on Unique Value Proposition (UVP) canvas. 🧐 Day 2 was all about nailing the business models using the Business Model Canvas.  Bravo to the teams for keeping focus, sharp mind, creativity and positive spirit throughout these 2 intense days!
