Excited! 🎉 First, Procter & Gamble scored a perfect 10 on the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) Shared Responsibility Scorecard for the second year in a row; now, P&G has won the coveted #RSPO 2024 Excellence Award for Shared Responsibility. 🏆   On behalf of our entire team, our Ayers Hong, Dr. Kuan-Chun Lee, Francis Wiederkehr, Ng Jin Yong and Azean Mohammad accepted the award at #RT2024 from RSPO’s Inke van der Sluijs (far left), with JULIA MAJAIL (far right) of the Sabah JASPO Initiative. The RSPO award recognizes an organization that not only has achieved outstanding results on the scorecard but also successfully internalized and communicated the process of Shared Responsibility, which encompasses:   ✅ Transparency and Legality: Conducting business ethically ✅ Social Good: Driving positive change for smallholders, workers and children ✅ Environmental Action: Minimizing waste, implementing eco-friendly energy solutions and reducing the organization’s carbon footprint ✅ Promoting Uptake: Driving market uptake of Certified Sustainable Palm Oil (CSPO) ✅ Sharing Resources: Dedicating time and financial support to promote production and consumption of CSPO and advance the RSPO mission   We are grateful to RSPO and our team who are all so committed to the sustainable sourcing of palm. #RSPONext20 #SustainablePalmOil #ItsOurHome

Our Procter & Gamble team is proud to be part of a global partnership to make palm oil sustainable. 🌿 For 20 years, the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) has brought key stakeholders together to transform the global palm oil sector. All have been inspired by a shared vision of a sustainable industry that benefits people, safeguards the planet, and promotes prosperity for rural communities worldwide.   P&G supports #RSPO because we share their commitment to sustainable palm, sustainably sourced, and believe in the significant progress they have helped realize over the past two decades, including:   ✅ Conserving over 360,000 hectares to date under RSPO Principles and Criteria Certification ✅ Remediating more than 100,000 hectares of land, and ✅ Improving the lives of over half a million workers in the global palm oil industry under the RSPO certification system.   Through the P&G Center for Sustainable Small-owners, at the ASB, more than 400 #smallholder farmers have achieved the internationally recognized RSPO Independent Smallholder Certification (RISS), with a further 400 #smallholders anticipated to earn this certification by the end of 2025. 👏   With the realization that shared challenges are often best handled by working together, we are excited to help continue building on RSPO’s progress to drive a more sustainable future. 🌎 Together with our P&G Director Principal Scientist, Dr. Kuan-Chun Lee, who serves on the RSPO Board of Governors, we look forward to the Next 20 with this important organization.   #RSPONext20 #SustainablePalmOil #RSPOmember
