#Labelling can be a delicate exercise for novel ingredients: 🍄are mold and mycelium the same thing? Not quite!🤔 𝗠𝘆𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘂𝗺 is an anatomical part of all multicellular fungi. It's the network of thread-like strands called hyphae that find and absorb food for the fungus. 𝗠𝗼𝗹𝗱𝘀 are a particular kind of fungi that don't form complex fruiting bodies. They exist basically only as a mycelium, producing spores directly from the tips of individual hyphae.
