Congratulations team «Yellow»! 🏆 Last Friday, the entire Printcolor AG team, including our retirees, enjoyed a fantastic company outing. We took the Limmattal light rail line which is operated by Aargau Verkehr AG (AVA) to the Stiftung Umwelt Arena Schweiz in Spreitenbach, a fully self-sustaining experience center dedicated to energy and environmental topics. Energized by a hearty brunch, we competed in teams in exciting challenges to win the «Arena Championship». The challenges required both intellectual skills and teamwork, from solving puzzles to navigating obstacle courses with various electric vehicles. Congratulations to the winning team «Yellow» which was rewarded with a voucher for the American restaurant Stars and Stripes adjacent to our company headquarters—see photo. After the challenges, we enjoyed inspiring tours through the arena and had the chance to test-drive the latest in e-mobility – on two, three, and four wheels! The day, full of action, team spirit, and new insights, ended with a great barbecue before heading home via public transport 🚊 . A big thank you to the staff at the venue—especially Ute K. Ever heard of "Disappearing Black"?   Our lineup of powerful, silicone-free screen printing inks for glass – such as Series 632 – features a specialty called «Disappearing Black». Disappearing Black Series 632-33/DB-KONZ is a potent concentrate designed to conceal inactive LED displays, LEDs, control panels, or screens. In Sleep Mode, these devices present a sleek black panel. When awakened, the full functionality emerges seemingly out of nowhere. Depending on the required opacity, «Disappearing Black» from Series 632 is mixed proportionally into the Series 632 varnish to adjust the desired coverage precisely. This enables the realization of elegant, contemporary designs that can be seamlessly integrated into automotive interiors, high-end consumer electronics components, or household appliances, harmoniously blending into existing architecture. Typically, the wake-up process is achieved through a proximity sensor, which reacts to approaching body warmth via IR detection. We can also conceal such sensors. Series 140-6125 is a special IR-permeable ink developed especially for this purpose.
