Another funding first for Proxima Fusion and signal of support for the European clean energy movement! Proxima Fusion is the first-ever fusion company to receive a €2.5M grant and the opportunity for €15M investment from the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) as part of the #EICAccelerator program! One step closer to clean, abundant, and affordable energy in Europe! 🚀 Proxima Fusion just signed a framework agreement with the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI), initiating a long-term collaboration to fast-track the commercialization of fusion energy. Several Proxima team members, led by Proxima’s Co-Founder Martin Kubie, will move to Switzerland Innovation Park Innovaare to develop high-temperature superconducting magnet technology.
