Herzlichen Dank an Zeno Staub für seine Ausführungen zum Klimawandel und der Rolle der Finanzindustrie in der Schweiz. Kurzweilig, anschaulich und kompetent führte er die SFAA Mitglieder durch das komplexe Thema. "Fossile Brennstoffe dominieren die Energieversorgung und treiben den Klimawandel an. Die Umstellung der Energieinfrastruktur ist aber komplex und teuer und die Marktmechanismen unterstützen die Transition nur sehr bedingt. Die Finanzindustrie kann und will zu einer Lösung beitragen, aber für eine tragfähige Lösung braucht es das buy-in von Allen."

Oktober im Zunfthaus zur Schmiden, zur Herausforderung der Klimatransition für die Schweiz und die Rolle des Finanzsektors zu sprechen. Ich werde meine Perspektive als Verwaltungsrat und wirtschaftspolitisch engagierter Bürger sehr gerne einbringen und freue mich auf die Diskussion. Zur Einstimmung ein paar Zahlen für die Schweiz, jeweils 1990 vs 2022.

Switzerland’s inflation and output trends suggest the Swiss National Bank might cut interest rates again, according to Vice President Antoine Martin. Addressing an audience of financial professionals at an event of the SFAA, Martin indicated that reasonably low rise of Swiss consumer prices and and economic growth tended towards a lower policy rate. We are honoured that Antoine Martin addressed our members at an SFAA event and thank him for his excellent speech.
