We asked our designer Celeste Bissardella to sketch the topic “To be, or not to be, that is the digital question”. She replied as follows: We live in an era where digital identity has become our primary identification. But how much of what we show truly reflects who we are? How often have we chosen to share only the best side, hiding insecurities and daily struggles? This distortion profoundly impacts our lives and those of others, especially among the youth. 🔍A recent study from 2023-2024 reveals that 60% of young people feel insecure about their image on social media. Anxiety and depression are on the rise, with 40% of teenagers reporting feeling inadequate due to constant comparisons with the "perfect" lives they see online. 📊The 75% of young users spend more than 3 hours a day on social media, which increases the risk of insecurities and self-esteem issues." - Source: Centro Studi sul Benessere Digitale 2024 In the attempt to build a perfect avatar, we risk losing sight of our true essence. What an incredible weekend at the #DeadlineDesignFestival! 🚀 This event at Talent Garden Calabriana, was a true celebration of design innovation. Over two days, we were inspired by leading voices in the design community, gaining insights into the future of our field and enjoying moments of creative engagement. We were thrilled to have our founder Luca Mascaro, take the stage to present "AI-Enabled Experiences - Next Generation Services." Luca's insights into personal AI agents, agentive technologies, and adaptive interfaces opened up new possibilities for how we live, work, and interact. A heartfelt thank you to the principal of Talent Garden's Design School, matteo marchesano; we’re looking forward to seeing everyone again next year!
