Imagine a world where billions of people have no safety net to fall back on. 🌍 Today, 3.8 billion people globally live without social protection. That’s nearly three-quarters of all children lacking access to child benefits. Millions of workers and mothers are left vulnerable without unemployment or maternity benefits. Universal social protection would ensure that no one is left behind, paving the way for a future where everyone can thrive. 🏡 Domestic workers, many of whom are women & migrants, play an indispensable role in our societies, yet they often remain on the fringes of labour and social protections.  A new ILO report, "Labour Rights and Social Protection Coverage for Domestic Workers in ASEAN," reviews progress by ASEAN Member States in extending labour & social protections to domestic workers, while highlighting remaining gaps.
