🎆Let’s celebrate today’s #WorldBloodDonorDay with some facts about blood: 🩸 5 liters of blood are pumped through our bodies in about 1 minute. 🩸 112 million blood donations per year are needed worldwide. 🩸 1 donation can help up to 3 people. Our bodies pump blood through a network of arteries, veins, and capillaries to function properly. In cases of illness, surgery, or accidents, blood transfusions become crucial. Today, on World Blood Donor Day, we want to give a big shout out to all the blood donors out there. Your contribution saves lives! 🔎And an insight from us: We’re proud to be part of the life-saving blood network too. Our #automated transport systems swiftly and securely deliver blood bags from the blood bank to the operating room, ensuring that life-saving blood is always available when needed most.

Happy International Nurses Day! 🎉 Today, we celebrate our #healthcare professionals who do an outstanding job every day. A big thanks to all of them! Did you know that two hundred years ago, a healthcare system basically didn’t even exist? It was when Florence #Nightingale decided to take matters into her own hands and established a sophisticated system in the 19th century that the situation improved. We owe countless changes and improvements to her dedication. Today, we also want to commemorate her birthday and her impact on healthcare. Want to find out more about the heroic nurse? In our modern society, we’re talking about how we can make our #healthcare system better and how we can create more efficient processes with advanced solutions. Of course, this is important for us. But we tend to forget that not everyone even has access to even basic healthcare and everything that comes with it: ◾ health services and education ◾ clean air and drinking water, ◾ proper nutrition, and ◾ good working, housing and environmental conditions. The 2024 #World Health Day under the motto “my health, my right”, raises awareness about those global health issues. #Health is not just a privilege but a basic human right. Our #automation solutions will certainly not solve fundamental problems. Nevertheless, they support and relieve the burden on those who take care of patients: healthcare professionals.

At this year’s international women’s day, let’s put a spotlight on three women in #healthcare whose contributions have paved the way for future generations of #female healthcare professionals: 🪔“The Lady with the Lamp”—𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗹𝗲: Known as the founder of modern #nursing, she established the first scientifically based nursing school—the Nightingale School of Nursing, in London in 1860. Her efforts to reform healthcare greatly improved the quality of care in the 19th and 20th centuries. 💊𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗱𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗮 𝗡𝗲𝗳𝗳: She was the first female student at the TH Karlsruhe and the first woman to become a formally educated pharmacist in Germany. She completed her exam with distinction. 👩⚕️𝗘𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝗯𝗲𝘁𝗵 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹: The British and American physician was one of the first women to earn a medical degree. She also played a significant role in promoting education for women in medicine. As we honor the progress made, let’s also acknowledge that there’s still a journey ahead. Let’s support one another on the journey to equality. Let’s lead change for women. #InternationalerWomensDay
