When tokenizing securities or debt, issuers may need to enforce specific restrictions on token ownership and transfer. For instance: ✅ Allow only whitelisted addresses to hold tokens. 🚫 Forbid sanctioned addresses from holding tokens. Our latest article explains how to implement these restrictions on smart contracts used for tokenization or other fungible tokens like stablecoins. Our Co-Founder Lamine Brahimi, CFA Brahimi talked about the tokenization of Real World Assets (RWAs) alongside Henry Zhang (Founder & CEO, DigiFT), Dr. Mari-Liis Kukk (Head of Innovation, Estonian Financial Supervisory Authority), Markus Infanger (SVP, RippleX, Ripple), and moderator Claire Calmejane (Investor at Leia Capital). They covered the future of RWAs in finance, focusing on the regulatory challenges and frameworks needed for adoption. In a tokenization workshop, Jürgen Hofbauer, Global Head of Strategic Partnership, and Victor Busson, CMO, discussed the business, technical, and regulatory aspects of scaling tokenization.
