I was honored to join the Swiss Turkish Legal Dialogues event. It was priceless to reconnect with my esteemed professor, Pascal Pichonnaz, and to meet the remarkable lawyer Bernhard Berger. This event brought back unforgettable memories of my time in #Fribourg and my years in #Switzerland. I had the pleasure of catching up with old friends and making new connections. A big thank you to Kabine Law Office and Alptuğ Tokeşer from Alp Arbitration for organizing this amazing event. I'm also grateful to the @Fribourg LL.M. Program (2012-2013) Institute for International Business Law - University of Fribourg, which was my first step into international law. Even though it's been almost four years since I moved from Switzerland to #Turkey, and I have visited since then, a part of me still feels at home in Switzerland. For the 4th year in a row, but for the 1st time alone, I was very pleased to lecture in Human Resources Compliance on May 25th and 26th, 2024 in the LLM program in Compliance offered by the Université de Fribourg - Universität Freiburg (https://lnkd.in/enmEBSFz) This unique LLM in regulatory compliance enables students to acquire the necessary capabilities to become a successful practitioner in the field. In addition to a solid theoretical basis, the program provides students with practical insight, allowing them to practice immediately following their studies. That’s the question we explored in a highly engaging half-day session with the students of the LL.M. program at Fribourg University’s Institute for International Business Law last week. We discussed what everyone believe exceptional leadership looks like. The difference between management and leadership. Why then looked at the “The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership” one of the more exhaustive research efforts and studies ever undertaken on leadership by Jim Kouzes and Barry Posner.
