Neue Förderung digitale Kultur 🎮 Ab Herbst 2025 fördert die Zürcher Filmstiftung neben Filmen auch digitale Darstellungsformen. Für eine dreijährige Pilotphase wird die Filmstiftung um den Bereich Digitale Kultur erweitert. Die Filmstiftung erhält dafür zusätzliche Finanzmittel vom Kanton. From Zurich to Berlin(ale) 🐻 Two productions supported by the Zürcher Filmstiftung are celebrating their world premieres at this year’s Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale): 🔹 «Mother’s Baby» – an Austrian-Swiss-German co-production directed by Johanna Moder – is competing for a Bear in the 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 🔹 «Heldin» – a Swiss-German co-production by Petra Volpe – will premiere in the 𝘉𝘦𝘳𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘦 𝘚𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 section We are looking forward to an exciting festival!

Awards, Awards, Awards 🏆 Several films supported by the Zürcher Filmstiftung have recently been honored with prestigious awards. At the Filmfestival Max Ophüls Preis, «Bagger Drama» by Piet Baumgartner won in two major categories: — Best Director (Award of the Saarland Minister-President) — Best Screenplay (Fritz Raff Screenplay Award) The Solothurner Filmtage also saw great successes: — «Immortals» by Maja Tschumi won the Prix de Soleure — «Storytelling» by Nils Hedinger won the Audience Award for Best Animated Film — «Exit Through The Cuckoo's Nest» by Nikola Ilic won the Audience Award for Best Short Film Congratulations to all the winners!
