This has a 𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 on the overall performance of the filtration system. AND to add to the below post, with another year of observations and experience in aquaculture 🐟 (but this pertains to zoos 🐘 too), Biofilters are large culprits of increasing the biomass in systems, with bacterial cell biomass increase often contributing to the sludge problems. While the below algal culture converts the nutrients to a usable form which is easy to remove and use.
