It is a wrap! Time to say goodbye to everyone who has joined us for an exciting week at the ITCILO in Turin, Italy, for the fourth edition of our Impact Insurance Academy. From representatives of regulators to insurers, from government ministries to intermediaries (insurtechs and aggregators such as banks, microfinance institutions and non-governmental organizations), we had all kinds of relevant stakeholders from more than 20 countries joining us towards a common goal: explore ways of developing inclusive insurance markets. Today marks the official launch of the Taskforce on Inequality and Social-related Financial Disclosures (TISFD), a global initiative to develop and deliver recommendations and guidance for businesses and financial institutions to understand and report on impacts, dependencies, risks, and opportunities related to people. As one of the Founding Partners of the TISFD, we are excited to celebrate this milestone and look forward to working with colleagues across business, finance, labour and civil society to better integrate social and inequality issues into decision-making.
