🌍 Empowering Export Potential in Jordan! Last week, ITC hosted a week-long workshop in Amman which focused on facilitating local trade advisors in the development of data-driven Quantitative Export Factsheets for a wide range of Jordan's priority products. 🚀 The workshop brought together 21 participants representing 9 key national institutions and consulting agencies, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing to propel Jordan's export potential to new heights. 💡 This initiative was proudly supported by the Department for International Development (DFID), a huge thank you for facilitating this workshop. Last week, President Trump announced new tariffs on China and EU countries. At the International Trade Centre, we have estimated what these would mean for global trade. Key insight: a 10% punitive tariff on imports from the EU and China would benefit... China! Global exports grew by 4.5% year-on-year in October 2024. The fastest-growing sector was animals & animal products.
