Thank you for the reading recommendation, and indeed, open access is a great initiative, especially for those with limited access to libraries. We highly value the availability of knowledge and information, also on behalf of our global community. #ITDAlliance
The term ‘#transdisciplinarity’ often raises questions. And the explanation of it as ‘transformative research with and for society’ does certainly not clarify them all. So, what does Transdisciplinary Research behold exactly? How can we effectively guide transdisciplinary processes while respecting the uniqueness of each situation? How can we ensure that everyone’s knowledge is recognized and valued when conditions for truly fair and inclusive participation are not always met? How do we enact our role as a transdisciplinary researcher when it conflicts with other parts of our identity? 📖 These are some of the many questions addressed in our newly published #openaccess book, edited by Barbara Regeer, Pim Klaassen, and Jacqueline Broerse. The book supports researchers and practitioners, especially those early in their careers, to navigate dilemmas inherent in ‘Transdisciplinarity for Transformation’. It provides theoretical and practical guidance and tools for researchers and practitioners in any field that is open to transformation-oriented collaboration. We hope you are as enthusiastic about reading the book as we were about writing it. And we look forward to your feedback and insights for future editions. 👉 Download the book in PDF or EPUB format here: https://lnkd.in/e-pCwB5j Congratulations to all the authors who have shared their insights and experiences in the book's 19 chapters, notably Geert Somsen, Frans van Lunteren, Kristiaan Kok, Alexandra Lux, Daniel J.
