A key highlight was attending the Nofima Smolt Conference in Sunndalsora, where not only did we meet up with Norwegian salmon farmers, we also gained valuable insights from leading Norwegian research groups. We learned about the latest advancements in Recirculation Aquaculture Systems (RAS) and the ongoing research in salmon health and welfare. We also visited the experimental research facility there, operated by Nofima, and toured various other locations around Bergen and Stavanger.
