The three things we learned from our first built project back in 2014: First, the transformative power of color. Huellas Artes, located in Santiago, Chile, showed us how color can redefine a space and energize a community. Second, the impact of vibrant graphic design on public behavior. We saw firsthand how playful, dynamic visuals draw people in, encouraging interaction and creating memorable experiences. And third, that action is the best start. It’s better to begin, even if imperfectly, than to wait for the perfect moment or all the resources. Urban Ripple, completed in Guangzhou in 2020, is a unique exploration of streetscape design. Rather than focusing on a central plaza, the project reimagines the streets around an exhibition center, using ripple-like black-and-white pavement patterns to create a continuous system of circulation. This streetscape includes elevated planters, shaded seating areas, selfie walls, and interactive features like spaces for kids and board games. Qué emocionante ver cómo este sueño va tomando forma día a día. Cada detalle que se instala en el Jardín y el Aula del Hospital Regional Universitario de Málaga nos recuerda lo especial que ha sido este proyecto. Nos hace mucha ilusión saber que muy pronto los niños podrán disfrutar de este espacio tan lleno de luz y magia. How do you design a place that feels like a celebration every day? 🌈🎉 In our project in Egypt, every element—urban furniture, wayfinding systems, sculptures, and greenery—contributes to a festival-like atmosphere. Arrows guide visitors along vibrant paths, ribbons double as colorful seating, and playful umbrellas create shaded gathering spots. The design is an explosion of colors that brings life to every corner.
