We're thrilled to see our #Hunter2 in action in Leonardo Guevara #agricultural project! Be sure to check out his research on #Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) and how #robots are being embraced in agriculture. Exciting stuff ahead!
If you are interested in Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) and robot acceptance within the agricultural domain, then please have a look at our recent paper titled "Robot-assisted fruit harvesting: a real-world usability study" presented in the IEEE CASE 2024. In this work, we gathered the opinions of users (pickers) about oncoming robot-assisted fruit harvesting solutions. The user study included trials in real-world conditions with the participation of pickers with different levels of experience in harvesting and robot familiarity. Although the sample size isn't large enough to generalize, these preliminary findings can already give insights into the aspects of the agri-robotic design that end-users consider more relevant and practical. Feel free to get in touch if you are interested in this research and would like to know more.
