What is Mode 3 EV Charging Cable? This type of EV charging cable connects the electric vehicle and EV charging station. Generally, EV stations provide type 2 sockets, allowing you to use a Type 1 or Type 2 plug, but the standard in Europe is a Type 2. Exciting to share another successful testing of our CCS2 to Chadmeo Adapter in Malaysia! It works well on Porsche Taycan, BMW, Mercedes Benz, etc. Why it is a big step? Because some EVs are with 800V platform, till now other brand adpaters still couldn’t make it work. Exciting news! Our latest version CCS2 to CHAdeMO adapters could work on Tesla supercharger too! Today in Finland, our EVSE team tested on many station brands: Tesla superchargers ,Tritium, Siemens, Delta, efacec, Kempower, etc., all works fine with Nissan Leaf. Have you ever met a distance issue? Could get through with the station. Here we could provide two solutions. If you already have a model 3 EV cable, then just get a type 2 to type 2 adapter is fine. If you don't have model 3 cables, you could get an extension cable. Some one may be puzzled , why do not connect the female plug with the model 3 cable male plug. Yes, this is a possible way.
