Fortune Kindergarten was first established in March 1998 and now has five campuses in Shanghai and is unique in its approach to English / Chinese bilingual education. Chinese / Expat homeroom teaching teams deliver a truly bilingual school based thematic curriculum half of the classes taught in Chinese and the other half in English. Fortune Kindergarten offers early childhood education for 2-6 years old children of expatriate families and Chinese citizens. The school population is very diverse with over 25 nationalities represented within the school community. Fortune Kindergarten is a private school managed by Xiehe Education Group, a private group now responsible for thirty educational institutions, including middle schools primary schools and kindergartens in Shanghai.
