From cool views of the Eiffel Tower to a highly collaborative team culture, Marketing Manager Héloïse Gicquel shares what she loves most about our Paris office. ⬇️ Are there any interesting landmarks around the Paris office? Heloise: We’re situated on Rue de Bassano in the 16th arrondissement, which is a beautiful and prestigious part of the city. One of the most famous landmarks nearby is the Champs-Elysées, where you can enjoy shopping, dining and stunning views of the Arc de Triomphe. What are some of your favorite features of the Paris office? Heloise: The Paris office has five floors with terraces on four of them. It’s great to be able to step outside and enjoy the fresh air, whether you need a break or just want to take in the view. The top floor and the terrace on the fourth floor are particularly special because you can catch a glimpse of the Eiffel Tower. I also really love the high ceilings on the ground, first and second floors. Why would you recommend the Paris office to someone who’s interested in joining the firm? Heloise: The team here is not only highly skilled but also very supportive, creating an environment where everyone feels encouraged to grow and contribute. The office has a great balance between hard work and having fun, whether it’s through regular team-building activities, casual lunches or celebrating milestones together. What is one fun fact about Paris? Heloise: The Eiffel Tower was originally meant to be a temporary structure. It was designed by Gustave Eiffel for the 1889 World’s Fair and was only supposed to stand for 20 years. It was kept up, and now, it’s one of the most iconic landmarks in the world!

Over the last 10 years, Senior Director Veronica Bilotta has watched #TeamFTI grow while retaining its collaborative, people-first culture. Keep reading to learn about her experience. ⬇️ What was your first impression of FTI Consulting, and how has it evolved over the past 10 years? Veronica: Coming from a small family-owned company, my first impression of FTI Consulting was “what a big company." Luckily, during the first few weeks, I met incredibly supportive colleagues in the Trial & Arbitration Support practice and throughout the firm. I was so impressed by their intelligence and experience in their respective areas of expertise. Over the years, FTI Consulting has grown exponentially, but our culture has not wavered. The collaboration among our professionals to tackle any matter goes above and beyond, making it a special place to work. How would you describe your job to a five-year-old? Veronica: Sometimes, companies need help to solve big, tricky problems. As the team leader of a group of artists, we make colorful books and pictures to show these companies all the different ways we can help them and why they should choose us to make things better. My team and I love to draw and write and other people I work with are really good at math, science and computers, so together, we can help solve any problem companies may have. What is your greatest personal and/or professional accomplishment? Veronica: My greatest personal and professional accomplishments go hand-in-hand. As the Head of Operations for the Visual Communication (Viscom) group, and as a mom, I pride myself in the quality of our work, never missing a client deadline nor missing my kids’ baseball games and/or their track meets. That work/life balance is key for me. What are you passionate about? Veronica: I love traveling with my family to new places, meeting new people and learning their way of life. We have visited Belize, Ireland, Mallorca and the Canary Islands, to name a few. Not only do we make lasting memories, but we have learned so much from conversations with the locals, and we were even lucky enough that one of those individuals became a life-long friend.
