It's all happening at this year's #Changemakers Conference 2025, "Beyond The Future", held at the American International School of Budapest : https://lnkd.in/gv7nDVRP One of the not so 'obvious' aspects of these conferences is that it is driven by students from front to back. Putting together a conference is never easy nor is it straightforward, but I am grateful for the agency of our core team at this student-led event! From reaching out to schools and special guests worldwide, to managing our facilities and tech needs, to scheduling the event, to transport and food, you name it! Students made it happen! It has been a truly collaborative build-up and the fun is now at its peak! Keynote Highlights from Aaron Moniz from Inspire Citizens at #ceesa2025: “The Critical Importance of Global Citizenship” Aaron kicked off by asking the audience: Who includes Global Citizenship in their mission statements? Most hands went up. He then posed a follow-up question: Who has a webpage or a clear definition of Global Citizenship, along with evidence of how it's implemented in your school? Only three hands were raised. This highlights a challenge we all face, and it’s exactly why our organization exists. Our role as educators has never been more crucial. The United Nations has established the 4.7 #SustainableDevelopmentGoals to promote "education for sustainable development." Together, we can achieve this goal! 💚

Inspire Citizens Scott Jamieson and Aaron Moniz reconnecting with Shanghai American School student leaders for their second check-in after our launch event at the beginning of the year, and helping them to ensure that they are applying leadership skills in their different contexts.
