Founded in 1949, Leister has grown into a globally recognized and highly successful brand. Leister stands for premium, high-quality products with reliable performance in the areas of plastic welding, process heat, including infrared solutions, and laser plastic welding. We are proud of our team of dedicated employees and the strong partnerships we've established with customers, sales partners, and suppliers across the globe. HQ and production of Leister are located in Switzerland. We're having a local presence in over 100 countries, working with 130 sales and service partners and eight national subsidiaries that contribute to our global presence and proximity to our customers: Leister Germany, originating from Solingen in 1949, has grown in Germany significantly since 1949. Leister Benelux began operations in Belgium in 1953 and in the Netherlands in 1963. Today, Leister's innovative and high-quality products are demonstrated, sold, and serviced across the Benelux region. Recognizing Italy's market importance early on, Leister Italy has been providing its innovative and high-quality products locally since 1958. Leister US first entered the U.S. market in 1961 and since then, has continued to grow its distribution network, bringing it closer to its customers. Japan's engagement with Leister Japan started in 1967 through a sales partnership. Today, Leister continues to broaden its presence in this major world economy. Leister China's presence in China began in 1980 with a sales partner from Hong Kong. The company expanded its footprint significantly with the establishment of its own subsidiary in 2004. India has been a significant market for Leister India since 1987. Over the years, Leister has successfully increased its market coverage throughout India, providing a wide range of products and services. As the latest addition, Leister Singapore was established to enhance market reach and customer support in the Southeast Asian region.

    Zeil-Doek B.V. has recently expanded its capabilities with the addition of a second Leister Seamtek machine—this time, the Seamtek W-900 AT. Building on the success of the Seamtek 900AT, which was integrated into their workshop in 2019, this new addition marks another step forward in precision and efficiency for the team at Zeil-Doek. The Seamtek W-900 AT is equipped with innovative low-voltage hot wedge technology, ensuring high-quality welds, even with delicate materials. What sets this machine apart is its variable speed control via a foot pedal, allowing seamless adjustments from 0.5 to 30 meters per minute, all without interrupting the welding process. The versatility of the Seamtek W-900 AT makes it an ideal choice for various applications, from advertising banners and tents to flexible tank welding and textile roofing. Energy efficiency is also a key feature, with the machine consuming minimal power in standby mode, resulting in significant energy savings. Additionally, no preheating is required, which allows immediate heat-up and operation. With such advanced features, Zeil-Doek BV is well-positioned to handle complex projects with greater speed and precision.     This year, we proudly celebrate Ruedi von Wyl’s 25-year journey with Leister. Since joining us on June 1, 1999, Ruedi has been one of the driving forces behind our success, bringing exceptional craftsmanship and innovative thinking to every project. From building transport scales that are still in use today to contributing to plasma welding production, his efforts have made a lasting impact. A true pioneer, Ruedi was instrumental in developing the Triac Drive nozzle and took over the laser cutting system in 2004. Today, he expertly manages the tube laser, flatbed laser, and Loewer grinding machine, ensuring precision and quality in every cut. Ruedi’s 25 years at Leister reflect his dedication, skill, and passion for innovation. From developing key components to mastering our laser systems, his work has left a lasting mark. As we celebrate this milestone, we thank Ruedi for his commitment and look forward to many more achievements together.
