Earlier this year our Shanghai, China team held their annual 'Quality Week'. With a core theme of 'Operational Excellence, Total Quality', the week focused on enhancing the team's understanding of all operations taking place across the site, and the quality management systems associated with each process. Our people are passionate about the environment and protecting our planet. As the 2024 monsoon season approached our Gujarat, India, team set themselves a goal to plant 1,000 saplings across their entire site during the season. The team understand the importance of encouraging natural regeneration of their forests, for wildlife and land preservation. We recognise the importance of engaging young people with STEM subjects, which is why it was great to see our Stourport, UK, team attending a STEM careers day earlier this year. The team focused on demonstrating the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the working world, particularly in our manufacturing at Morgan. They played a 'Quick, Draw!' AI powered game on tablets with the children, which utilises AI to 'guess what you are about to draw. Today we’re sharing the charitable actions of our Atlacomulco, Mexico team. Throughout the year our people collect bottle caps, donating these annually as part of their Earth Day celebrations to cancer-fighting charity ‘Fundación iEVO’. IEVO Foundation supports children with cancer and children with disabilities. Through this action the team are helping to reduce plastic waste and support a cause close to their hearts, in the local community. Our people love to give back to their local communities. Members of our Greenville, South Carolina team recently gave up their time to volunteer for ‘Hands on Greenville’ 2024! Our people were part of a group of over 2,500 volunteers giving back to their local community.
