Congratulations to our partners Sian Young CHC and Lowellyne James PhD, FIEMA, FCQI CQP of SDG Assessment and Centre for Sustainable Action on their partnership for #plastic #waste #recycling in the Caribbean with Trinidad and Tobago based Shawn C. Roberts of Recycling Waste & Logistics Ltd. The Digital Circularity as a Service initiative will remanufacture #plasticwaste into new products, using advanced #3Dprinting and additive manufacturing technologies. It will showcase effective circular economy practices, transforming how #waste is managed, specifically targeting the diversion and #remanufacturing of plastic waste and other #recyclable materials, turning it into valuable resources and reducing reliance on traditional #landfill disposal methods. This innovative approach will significantly reduce the need for transportation and storage of waste, cutting down #carbonemissions and promoting local #economicdevelopment. CSA and RWL will establish Global But Local HuBs. The #hubs will serve as #incubators for sustainable business practices, offering #training and support to #SMEs and #entrepreneurs, fostering a culture of environmental responsibility and #innovation. The collaboration aims to advance #sustainability and #circulareconomy practices in #TrinidadandTobago and the wider Caribbean. It will use the SDGA app, a cutting-edge #digitalplatform designed to enable local enterprises to track and report their #sustainability and #ESGperformance, ensuring #compliance with both national and international regulations, and enabling them to participate in the plastic credit and #carboncredit markets, unlocking new economic opportunities and revenues. PIHG has been expanding its activities in the #Caribbean, in the last few weeks announcing: · Partnering with Abris Inc for deployment of digital solutions, including an app for farmers developed by Abris in partnership with the Carbon Zero Institute of Trinidad and Tobago; and · Partnering with Blue Mahoe Capital for #financing and #developing #sustainableprojects in the Caribbean, including #sustainablehousing projects. PIHG has signed an MOU with Abris Inc (“Abris”) for commercializing and deploying their #digital solutions in international markets. Abris is a Massachusetts headquartered #AI, #web3 and #digitization solutions firm, with a range of products and solutions focused on the #Govtech, #SocialImpact, Cross-Industry, and #RealEstate sectors. PIHG will work with Abris to deploy their products in international markets, initially in the #Caribbean, #Africa, #MiddleEast, #LatinAmerica and #SEAsia.
