💡 BEHIND THE BOTTLE: The process gets hot! Our glass furnaces reach a scorching 1600 degrees Celsius (2900 degrees Fahrenheit). Piping hot temperatures ensure a homogeneous and fluid molten glass that is easily molded into a customized and often intricate design. Annealing then takes place to cool each bottle and strengthen it by relieving internal stresses. New Challenge: Creative Art Director at Rockwood. Custom bottle manufacturer! 😎 I'm excited to announce my new role as Creative Art Director at Rockwood! For the past four months, I've been transitioning into this position, leveraging my design consulting experience. While some might find this move from the design consulting world to China's largest foreign-owned glass and ceramic company (Rockwood. Custom bottle manufacturer) unexpected, my intuition proved correct. I'm thoroughly enjoying this shift in my design career. While I remain an Advisory Partner at WY&P, overseeing key strategic accounts and providing valuable insights, I'm not finished with WOLKOV watches. 😎 Frankly, designing high-end glass bottles for spirits like whiskey and tequila wasn't initially on my radar, but it's turned out to be a thrilling and highly engaging challenge. It's fascinating to blend brand identity with product design in a single object, and the daily creative challenges are stimulating. In this new leadership role, I'll be guiding our in-house team to develop innovative glass and ceramic bottles from concept to completion. We'll be shaping new brands and crafting comprehensive marketing offerings, including POS materials and packaging, for both clients and our own in-house brands.
