    🎉 #Trinasolar Leads the Way in Hybrid Solar Innovation! We're excited to announce the successful commissioning of a 100MW hybrid project in Merchang, Terengganu—Malaysia's largest hybrid solar power plant to date! Developed by Cypark Resources Berhad, this project utilizes our Vertex modules and and combines the best of both worlds: 35MW of floating solar panels and 65MW of ground-mounted panels. Hybrid solar solutions are ideal for locations with limited land availability. In particular, floating solar offers unique advantages, including reducing water evaporation from reservoirs and higher energy production with the natural cooling effect of water. Moreover, our Vertex modules' dual-glass design captures sunlight from both sides, maximizing energy generation. This feature is beneficial for the ground-mounted system, where the white sandy soil reflects light onto the module's underside, ensuring sustained performance under harsh environmental conditions. This plant is expected to generate enough clean energy to offset 202,024 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually. Trinasolar is proud to support Malaysia's ambitious renewable energy goals, contributing to the nation's target of achieving a 70% renewable energy mix by 2050. #Innovation #RenewableEnergy #Sustainability

This is our second time receiving this recognition, solidifying Trinasolar's position as a leader in sustainable manufacturing. We've significantly reduced our environmental impact at the factory, achieving a 6.86% reduction in power consumption per unit production (kWh/MW) and a 6.18% decrease in carbon emissions per unit of production (tCO2e/MW) since 2022.     Trinasolar #Sells #Pennsville #Landfill for 5.7 MW #CommunitySolar Farm in the #US Trina Solar Development Solutions LLC--Trinasolar International System Business Unit’s (‘ISBU’) #American entity is glad to announce that we sold a 5.7 MW solar power project located on a landfill in Pennsville, New Jersey. Expected to begin #construction in Q1 2025 and achieve full #operation by late Q4 2025, the solar farm will generate approximately 8,000 MWh of energy annually, enough to power hundreds of homes and businesses in the area. This project will transform a landfill into a valuable source of clean energy, powering municipal facilities and homes.
