GB/T16311-2024 "Quality Requirements and Test Methods for Road Traffic Markings" has strict anti-skid technical index requirements for road markings. This document replaces GB/T 16311-2009 "Quality Requirements and Test Methods for Road Traffic Markings" and GB/T 21383-2008 "Initial Retroreflective Brightness Coefficient and Test Method for Newly Drawn Road Markings". This document is based on GB/T 16311-2009 and integrates the contents of GB/T 21383-2008. Compared with GB/T 16311-2009, in addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows: a. Adjusted the scope of application of the standard b. Added the terms and definitions of marking material color, measurement range, verification area and test points c. Deleted the terms and definitions of anti-skid value d. Changed the classification by marking function, added anti-cracking markings, anti-skid markings and self-draining markings e. Added quality requirements, sampling methods and testing methods for glass beads in hot-melt paint markings, total organic matter content in hot-melt paint markings and heavy metal content in hot-melt paint markings f. Changed the requirements for marking colors and marking material colors, and added requirements for gray, green, purple, brown and black marking colors and corresponding marking material colors g.
