Now, our client and its research division, SIMETRI (the opposite of ‘asymmetry’), aim to give retail investors the same privileged look into the markets that insiders have. They’ve systematically evaluated hundreds of crypto projects to deliver profitable insights to subscribers and continue to report on the emerging trends in the industry.

About The Position

We are seeking a talented and experienced Social Media Manager to join our crypto news and media team. We are looking for someone who is a crypto native, already immersed in crypto culture, and actively following news and trends in the industry.

The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of social media management, be fully immersed within the crypto culture, and possess a fluent understanding of English grammar. A sense of humor and a keen eye for detail is also a big plus.

Responsabilities

• Develop and Implement Social Media Strategy Design and execute comprehensive social media strategies tailored to the crypto news and media industry. Focus on platforms like Twitter/X, Telegram mainly, but also LinkedIn and others to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and community growth.
• Content Creation and Curation Create and curate engaging, relevant, and timely content that resonates with the crypto community. Ensure content aligns with current trends, news, and the overall brand voice.
• Social Media Campaign Management Plan, execute, and manage social media campaigns, including organic and paid initiatives. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure campaigns align with broader marketing goals.
• Community Engagement Actively engage with followers, respond to comments, and foster a strong, active online community. Build relationships with key influencers and industry figures to expand the brand’s reach.
• Performance Analysis and Reporting Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics, providing regular reports with actionable insights. Adjust strategies based on data to optimize content performance and community engagement.
• Industry Trend Monitoring Stay up-to-date with the latest crypto trends, news, and industry developments. Incorporate industry insights into social media content and strategies to maintain relevance and competitiveness.
  
  

Qualifications

• At least two to three years of social media management experience at a social media management agency. Bonus points if you have worked at a high-growth web3 or blockchain project.
• At least one to two years of involvement in the cryptocurrency industry.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Bard, DALL-E, and Midjourney.
• Ability to work independently and remotely with a portion of your availability during peak hours U.S. Eastern Time (somewhere between 8 am – 6 pm GMT-5).
• Oversee a content calendar and work with teams on managing social media platforms, including Twitter and others.
• Be knowledgeable and keep up to date on current industry trends within the blockchain and DeFi industries, performing relevant market research when needed.
• Provide general marketing and administrative support activities.
  
  

You Are

• Proven: You have at least 1-2 years of relevant social media marketing within the web3 industry. Specific experience in DeFi and/or ecosystem growth/management is preferred.
• Responsive & Communicative: Whether written or orally, your communication skills are outstanding in any context. You must be fully fluent in English. You respond quickly and are readily available. You are active on social media and online chats all the time.
• Passionate: You are passionate about the cryptocurrency and blockchain fields. You are self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment. You love to constantly learn and keep abreast of trends and developments in the crypto and blockchain industries.
• Independent: You can take the initiative and run with it. Given a firm set of values and guidelines, you can move quickly and independently, using your best judgment.
• Organized: You are super organized, punctual, and have excellent time management skills.
