Versailles Ring

Versailles Ring is a third-person action and role-playing game that is openly inspired by the famous Elden Ring. From the game's name to your character's appearance, the combat system or the setting style, everything in the game will remind you of the popular From Software game.

The controls in Versailles Ring are perfectly adapted to touch screens and very comfortable. You can control your character with your left thumb while using your right to carry out the different actions in the game: roll, jump, crouch and attack. In the top left corner is the inventory where you can change weapons or select any previously obtained item.

The action starts from the very first moment in Versailles Ring. As soon as you start a new game, your character will appear in the middle of a village filled with enemies that you have to defend yourself against. After defeating a few enemy soldiers, you can start exploring the world as you see fit. A huge castle, some mountains and a beach can be seen in the distance. The world is enormous, and you can move around freely, climbing up mountains or rolling down hills.

In some parts of the map, you can find portals that let you jump to the inside of castles and dungeons, where you will find particularly powerful enemies...and also especially good pieces of equipment. Skeletons, giant spiders or wizards are just a few kinds of the highly dangerous enemies that you will have to face. Luckily, you will have many different weapons that let you play in loads of different ways: swords and daggers let you make quick attacks in close combat, while bows and magic wands let you attack from a distance, and spears and axes make up the middle ground.

Versailles Ring is an excellent action game with hints of role-play that doesn't quite manage to transfer the whole experience of From Software games to Android devices, but at least tries. An ambitious game with good visuals, a dynamic and fun combat system and a vast setting full of enemies and secrets waiting to be discovered.
