Hello! I have an idea I want to share. Recently I gifted a years worth of Premium Plus to a SL family member. We both have Premium Plus Linden Homes now. (Side note: We are both very impressed with the newest Premium Plus Linden Homes and the communal regional layout done for them. They are as nice as some of the more fancy family RP sims that you have to pay to be a member of, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out there are active event centered community run groups for these regions. Very cool!) Originally we were going to do tickets so we could be direct neighbors and keep our own separate Linden Homes. However, it seemed important that we share a home so I took a room in her home and now we have to split the prim allowance in ways that is restrictive. Home should be shared. The very best of SL is shared. Having the means to share with a sufficient allowance is what enables SL to thrive. In decorating our home it came down to realizing that even with being aware and conservative with our prim allotments it's apparent that it is too restrictive; Stifling for multiple persons in one large home. The land and homes are plenty large enough, but the prims are part of what allows us the freedom to measure the quality of our experiences. I believe a reasonable and attractive solution that would not negatively affect/effect the business model of Premium Plus and actually promote Premium Plus subscriptions would be to develop a server side feature to allow 'Prim Deeding' of multiple Premium Plus land benefits to one Premium Plus Linden Home. If I have 700 prims that aren't being used at my Premium Plus Linden Home, but my SL family member is hosting the whole family in her Premium Plus Linden Home and we are hitting limits of prims for the Family Linden Home with just us 2 so far, then how can we possibly fully utilize the potential attractiveness of choosing a Premium Plus Linden Home as our Family Headquarters if there aren't sufficient prims to allow the expressive freedoms of multiple persons or activity based allowance of free prims to take advantage of such a large house plus the large 2,048 square meter land that it sits on? The answer, is 'Premium Plus Family' Linden Home prim deeding. I see many vast fields of linden homes that are often ghost towns through the day, and quite a few of the Premium Plus Mediterranean Linden Homes are vacant. Premium Plus Family prim deeding would still mean the house I chose, but am not using while living in my head of family's Linden Home, would still be sitting there taking up space that another could use and taking up server resources. So to circumvent that in support of the 'Premium Plus Family' Linden Home prim deeding feature, I suggest that there be an option on the Linden Home tab on the Account Page where you choose a Linden Home that there be an option to instead deed the prims to another person's Premium Plus Linden Home versus claiming your own separate and isolated Linden Home instead of contributing to a Premium Plus Family linden home. This way, the 2048 square meters that you aren't using may remain unallocated for another Premium Plus member to use. This would reduce server overhead for unused or rarely used allocated land, yet multiply the attractiveness of Premium Plus for not just one single person, but whole families. This idea would be an active variable in reducing Linden Home regional needs on the world map while simultaneously maximizing the efficacy of the regions that are already in existence, promotes family closeness, community, is an enabling motivator for healthy social interaction habits (which I for one and many others in SL could benefit from), and happiness of the Premium Plus customer, while at the same time bolstering the Premium Plus product appeal, effectiveness, signups, and most importantly - Premium Plus subscription retention.
