When you block an object (or person), it/they should not be able to get its crap into your chat box, and it should be banned to find a way around a block like that. A pair of merchants share a bot that spams me by inserting text into my chat box however it is done; and it's more feeling angry that they can do that when blocked than the actual content, which can be ignored. But I get angry that they can do it because I don't want to get their ads, have blocked the object and its owners, and they still get their ads for items into my chat box. I've used the abuse form, and LL seems not to do much, though I do come on and see messages "X has been added to the block list" so perhaps they are trying to help me keep the spam out. But they still get their ads into my chat box, and really, finding tricks to communicate in any way around a block should be a bannable offense. If I want to hear from a merchant, I'll join their group and read their notices, and I do. Getting ads into someone's chat box unsolicited, or any other way around a block, should be banned and/or made impossible. -

Sacred Cauldron Pagan Sim is in need of an advertising specialist for our marketing team. We are a Pagan Religious Organization sponsored by the Aquarian Tabernacle Church which is a non-profit 501C3 organization. We offer workshops, classes, meditations, rituals, dances, and other social events for the Pagan community on SL. Most of these events encourage donating to the church to help pay for the Sim, but otherwise, we do not charge for our services. Experience with SL and Social Media advertising a must Experience with Paganism a plus Experience with marketing and graphic tools like Canva and Photoshop a plus Must be able to learn quickly and play well with others. You will be part of a large committee, and a smaller team within that committee. Must respond well to authority. (What the arch-priestess says, goes!) Must respect our religious views and values, and be willing to work within that framework. Must be able to attend meetings at 3-4:30pm on Mondays, 2-3pm on Tuesdays, and currently (but subject to schedule changes) Thursdays at 6:30pm. All SLT/Pacific Times. Seduction Apartments is in it's final stages of development! SA will be offering apartments (both furnished and unfurnished) as well as a few flat lots for rent. The land rating is Adult, so no teens or children will be allowed on the sim at any point. We're currently looking for a marketing manager, a property manager, and an interior designer. Each of these roles will have their own responsibilities and will be paid (in Lindens) for their time. They will also receive a profit share for each rental payment (Handled in CasperTech) and also be issued a free rental of their choosing. Below are the roles and responsibilities of each position we are looking for. Property Manager (Hiring!) Check prim limits for each tenant and report any objects outside of rentals Assist with setting rental values and costs Address any tenant complaints/reports Marketing Manager (Position Filled) Handle and maintain advertising to drive traffic Optimize the land and group profiles with URLs, links, keywords, etc. Send announcements and invites Interior Designer (Hiring!)
