I have been there since I started playing second life and I am truly upset and sad that it is gone; it was the only sim I could be in where people couldn't be inappropriate because it was one of the few successful sandboxes that was moderate. I have done numerous events and decorations for this community in MAGE NEXUS. It has hurt me so bad that it's gone, this sim has been around for 10 YEARS. Not months, not a year, but ten. It's like my memories are gone, what is happening to second life? Is this truly the end? What happened to MAGE SANDBOX?

Is anyone aware of any privately owned sandboxes that have changed their EEP to better suit PBR? I found the Alchemical Sandbox which has an interesting environment and I am wondering if there are more out there? Thanks -

Revoke Animation Permissions - Griefed in Sandbox

Hello and fair tidings, I have a friend who was AFK in a sandbox for some time. After they logged off and back on a few days later, they've discovered that they were griefed, and their avatar is now forced into an animation. This friend of mine is no longer at the sandbox, but has tried everything we can google. Undeformers, Revoke Animation Permissions, Reset Skeleton & Anims.. nothing is working. I have read that there is no possible way to fix this until the griefer resets the script, or cancels the attack, or something like that. The question now is, what exactly can my friend do? Are they stuck like this forever, or is there something that can be done to fix the issue? This could not possibly be a permanent issue that has not been fixed since 2016. Another avatar works perfectly fine, but the primarily-used avatar is essentially broken beyond use. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance. -- Mephistopheles -
Does anyone know what happened to the 2 sanbox regions next to the Verenda sandbox on aditi? Last monday one of them started to fail with uploading items. Then they were showing offline on tuesday and today they seem to be gone alltogether. Only Verenda remains. I miss the one next to it because it had an open space of water to build on.

My question is, since people don’t have to buy land, and some people can’t as they don’t have the money, is it okay to make what you want to sell in a sandbox and then upload to marketplace? I understand no selling in sandboxes, which is fine with me, but does this include making items you want to sell in the future and to upload to the market place? Again, no actual marketing and selling items /in/ the sandbox, just making said item. I wanted to ask before uploading textures and making the frame and such, so I don’t do something that is not allowed and then get kicked. Obviously, because that is not preferable. I have to wait to be five days old, that’s fine, but I have a plan of making art pieces and decorations (paintings). And yes, I understand that it hardly pays and it is difficult, but I am looking to make L$ not US$. I just thought it’d be fun and maybe get a little bit of exposure for when I sell my real life work. There is also the question of do I absolutely have to pay for L$ with US$ before selling things in the marketplace? I know I need link a paypal account (just one of the options I chose and prefer), but do I have to pay for currency with that account instead of just linking it and start selling?

Sandboxes - build permitted but object entry not - why?

Some Linden Labs sandboxes have Build enabled for everyone, but have Object Entry disabled. This is a strange combination. You can create prims and rez existing objects. You can rez a vehicle and drive it. But if you get out of the vehicle, it immediately disappears and is returned to the owner, because it's now considered an "entering object". Is there some good reason for this, or is it just a bad permission setting? -

In second life forums, it is stated that you can build a purchased house on your own land. So you have to buy a land for this. But, I want to know that can I build a purchased house on a sandbox which allowed to the building and scripting? Is there anyone doing such a thing before?

For some months I used the core charities sandbox to create my items. Now only a small rest remains and surrounded by eyekilling flickering. Useless.I checked free sandboxes and could not find one that is really usable when you like to create a more complex item or a bigger one. On most are so many griefers you will not like to start any creation.Are there still usable bigger sandboxes that are not only for the paying SL users?It would be great when Lindens open some of their sandboxes for the public. Most of them are all the time empty.
