𝗤𝟮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰:⁣ • 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆: The total office inventory in Costa Rica grew by 4.48% from Q2 2023 to Q2 2024, indicating a growing supply of office space.⁣ • 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗩𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗲: Despite the increase in inventory, the vacancy rate rose from 19.60% to 23.56%, suggesting a potential challenge for landlords.⁣ • 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀: Both the average asking rental rate and Class A average asking rent experienced slight increases, indicating a stable market with limited rent growth.⁣ •𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆: Quarterly leasing activity surged by 37.35% year-over-year, reflecting a strong demand for office space in Costa Rica.⁣ ⁣ W𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲? While the increased vacancy rate might be a concern, the significant growth in leasing activity suggests a positive outlook for the Costa Rican office market. As businesses continue to adapt to hybrid work models and the economy recovers, we can expect further fluctuations in supply and demand.
