Travel Consultant

Overview:

The Travel Consultant will report to the Business and Development Sales Managers.

Their mission is to excel at selling vacation packages to our main destinations, Colombia, Panama, Nicaragua, Belize, Guatemala, and Costa Rica.

The ideal candidate will have experience in sales, and the travel industry and understand our mission, vision, and values.

Tasks:

• Consult with travel advisors and direct clients to gather detailed information
• Work with our software programs to build and implement detailed itineraries
• Educate and inform clients about our products and services.
• Revise itineraries as needed per client feedback and make knowledgeable suggestions
• Build and maintain relationships with your accounts.

Required skills:

• Perfect spoken & written English.
• 2+ years of Sales experience
• 1+ years of Travel industry experience
• Ability to problem solve
• Complete or partial knowledge of our destinations.
• Ability to stay organized and manage time effectively
• Attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and relationship building skills
