In this edition of WG Stories, we meet Anton Belovodskij, QA Engineer at Wargaming Vilnius. Anton's journey is about rising above; he utilized his passion for both volunteering and gaming to realize his dream, forging a path from player all the way to his current role. Curious, eager to explore, and a big gamer, Anton leapt at the chance to volunteer as a tester for a GameDev company. As he delved into new mechanics and discovered bugs, his experience grew, and he took on varied roles. Joining Wargaming had long been Anton's goal. When the company started looking for QA specialists in Vilnius, he applied and got an offer, and his hobby became a career. Anton believes in being confident, moving forward, and leaving challenges behind, and he is proud to be working on complex, exciting features after a short time at Wargaming. The company offers plenty of opportunities to rise above challenges and achieve great things, and the community spirit helps drive passion. For fellow testers, Anton highlights the following important traits: · Attention to detail, which is the most important skill. · Patience, because testing is a long process that requires time, focus, and perseverance. · Communication, since you need to be able to clearly express your thoughts to colleagues. Has your purposefulness helped you rise to greatness? Whether you've landed a dream job or are taking your first steps, tell us in the comments 👇 #WGStories

Did you know that one in 12 men is colorblind, with red/green color blindness being the most common? In World of Tanks, this could make it tricky to tell friend from foe, as allies are highlighted in green and enemies in red. That’s where Colorblind Mode comes in! Colorblind Mode has been available in World of Tanks since launch, making the game more accessible to players and viewer-friendly for streamers. Whether you’re a commander in battle or just tuning in to watch, we’ve got your back.
