Control System Retrofit for a 100-Year-Old Hydropower Plant in Ljubljana, Slovenia, with InteliSys 2000! We are in the process of creating a new video case study after the recent retrofit with our new InteliSys 2000 controller. The retrofit was carried out by the local hydropower plant packager, Electrical, led by Bostjan Kokolj. The InteliSys 2000 control system is not only suitable for CHP and gas engines but, thanks to its versatility, can also be utilised for hydropower plants. “The whole control of the electrical part (measurement, protections, synchronisation, breaker control, P-Q management, grid codes, etc.) is already prepared in the unit; it only requires PLC programming for the turbine control part,” says Lukáš Mrkvička, Senior Product Manager for InteliSys 2000. The third area of our recently published ESG report is dedicated to Corporate Governance. ComAp follows best practices in Corporate Governance, including the UK Corporate Governance Code. “We have always been inclined towards UK governance standards. They offer a principle-based system rather than a strictly rule-based system, commit to transparency, focus on board independence and accountability and clearly separate roles of Chair and CEO,” explains Libor Mertl, one of the founders of ComAp and a Board Member. ComAp will also implement International Financial Reporting Standards to increase its transparency and is committed to maintaining zero instances of bribery, adhering to anti-trust regulations, and complying with applicable sanction regimes. ComAp has also established a global whistleblowing guideline and internal system, including appointing a dedicated whistleblowing officer to ensure transparency and accountability. ComAp´s Inter-Controller CAN Converter: Newly Supporting Also Deif Controllers We are pleased to announce that our existing Inter-Controller CAN converter (ICCC) solution for load and VAr sharing between ComAp and 3rd party control units has been expanded by another brand of supported controllers. Newly, ComAp´s ICCC is compatible with Deif paralleling control units over the existing CAN bus for inter-controller communication. The plug-and-play solution allows customers to seamlessly integrate different controller brands, dead bus closing for application safety, and easy installation and commissioning with minimal requirements for the configuration of the system.
