Announcement of a great #cooperation: EP Power Minerals and LEAG are working together to extract natural pozzolans in #Iceland. This environmentally friendly raw material will make an important contribution to the #decarbonization of the cement industry! Natural #pozzolans can be used as an additive in #concrete and #cement. The natural material partially replaces the clinker, whose production generates substantial carbon dioxide emissions. Thus, the CO2 footprint of the building material is significantly reduced. With its many years of experience as a mining operator, #LEAG will plan the pozzolan extraction, transportation and loading for the mining area in Iceland for EP Power Minerals - in parallel with the necessary approval procedures - and later set up the technical mining plant itself. Several million tons of the material are to be transported to customers every year in the future. EP Power Minerals handles the project through its subsidiary EP Power Minerals Iceland ehf, which is managed by Ragnar Gudmundsson. #EPPowerMinerals #CementIndustry #CO2footprint #BuildingMaterial

From coal to clean energy, EPH develops two energy projects in France 🍃 Repowering of Muzillac and Ambon wind farms raised their total installed capacity from 18.50 MW to 26.40 MW Repowering stands as a great example of energy transition and circular economy, as 98 % of the total mass of the turbines was recycled. 🔋 Emile Huchet battery project will have an installed capacity of 35 MW and a storage capacity of 44 MWh. The battery system will store enough energy to provide daily electricity consumption for 10,000 people. 👉 https://lnkd.in/egJtjG2K

EP Produzione confirms its commitment to support the Country's energy transition, towards a more sustainable future 🌍 The Group has been awarded capacity for 5 new projects in the #CapacityMarket 2025 auction. 💶 The total investment amounts to approximately EUR 170 million.
