The very first day of FUTURE FORCES FORUM expo schedule underlined the obviously growing importance of defence industry for the Czech public. We had the great honor to welcome the President of the Czech Republic, Ing. Petr Pavel M.A., at the stand of the Czechoslovak Group. Afterwards we had the privilege to welcome the Minister of Defence, Jana Černochová. In addition to these high-profile visits, we also received numerous official delegations throughout the day. Excalibur Army and other Czechoslovak Group companies continue to make maximum efforts to support the capabilities of domestic defence industrial chain, which we see as a crucial aspect of national security. #FUTUREFORCEFORUM #DEFENCE #EXCALIBURARMY

Our company provided a temporary bridge for the Integrated Rescue System (IRS) At the request of the IRS our company Excalibur Army, in cooperation with the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic (FRS) and the Army of the Czech Republic (ACR), provided a temporary bridge over the Bělá River in Česká Ves in the Jeseník region, utilizing its M 70 EX and M 50 EX bridge field, with a total weight for the bridge of 50 tons. The 26-meter-long bridge was installed under very challenging conditions with the participation of the ACR's engineers, firefighters, and the Excalibur Army team. The site was extremely challenging due to the width of the riverbed, the elevation differences between the banks, the limited space for maneuvering, and the damaged riverbed, into which the supports had to be anchored. This operation was the first of its kind in our company's history, and witnessing the installation of two bridges was undoubtedly a significant experience for everyone involved. The AM-70 EX is a bridge vehicle developed by our company, designed to bridge various obstacles such as watercourses and terrain irregularities. This system is based on the successful AM-50 models used by the ACR. The AM-70 EX offers a number of improvements, including a simpler and more durable hydraulic system, increased load capacity, and faster bridge deck installation. The bridge's load capacity is according to the MLC (Military Load Classification) 70 standard, meaning it can support vehicles weighing up to 70 tons. MLC is a numerical indicator that defines the military load classification of a bridge structure. The combined connection of the M 50 and M 70 bridges can be seen right here in Česká Ves. The bridges can be used by civilians in special cases because they are solid and have no gaps between them. The temporary bridge ultimately connected residents from the other side, where approximately 500 people had been cut off with no means of access or assistance. Thanks to this bridge, electricity was restored in many locations. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the participating units of the IRS Hasičský záchranný sbor ČR, Armáda České republiky, the residents of the flooded houses, and our mechanics who contributed to the construction of the bridge. The installation of the bridge in a flood-affected area was certainly not an easy task, and everyone on-site did an excellent job.

Czechoslovak Group is donating 12 Tatra trucks, worth over CZK 102 million, to help Czech firefighters deal with the aftermath of recent floods. This contribution strengthens their capacity to respond to natural disasters effectively.
The Czechoslovak Group is donating 12 Tatra vehicles, valued at over CZK 102 million, to the Fire rescue service of the Czech republic. The donation is being made in response to the need to clear the aftermath of the recent floods that have affected the Czech Republic and neighboring countries. The vehicles will remain the permanent property of the Fire Rescue Service to enhance its long-term capabilities not only in dealing with the consequences of natural disasters but also in fulfilling other duties. Some of the vehicles included in the donation are already in the hands of Czech firefighters and are fully deployed. I have made the decision to provide this donation due to the long-standing partnership between CSG, our TATRA TRUCKS a.s. company, and the Czech firefighters. Tatra trucks are exceptional vehicles, capable of operating in the epicenter of natural disasters thanks to their unique features. They play a crucial role in mitigating the effects of the floods. The floods have tragically impacted the lives of people in the Czech Republic and neighboring countries. I believe that 12 Tatras in the hands of the firefighters will significantly contribute to minimizing the damage caused by the floods as quickly as possible.
