Humanitarian aid logistics differs from general cargo logistics. In recent years, we have carried out several humanitarian aid transports to Ukraine, among other places, in collaboration with JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency). To share insights and learn more about the critical role of logistics in humanitarian aid efforts on a global scale, we recently hosted the ‘Humanitarian Aid Logistics Seminar’ in Tokyo, headed by Thomas Lyck, EVP Aid & Relief. The event saw over 100 attendees from more than 50 organisations, including customers, suppliers, government agencies, and corporations. The seminar also featured notable attendees, including speakers such as the Ambassador of Denmark, Mr Peter Taksoe-Jensen, the Ambassador of Ukraine, Dr Sergiy Korsunsky, and Ms Yuko Mitsui, Director General of Procurement Department for International Cooperation at JICA. We are proud to receive recognition for our contributions to global humanitarian and relief operations. Following the seminar, all participants met at a reception held at the Danish Embassy, providing an excellent opportunity for further discussions and networking. This event not only allowed key stakeholders to better understand the value of our services but also opened doors for future collaborations in our humanitarian aid efforts. Introducing our latest electric truck 🚚 The e-truck is a direct response to growing customer demand for efficient and sustainable automotive logistics solutions. Exclusively dedicated to safely transporting cars, the truck runs 3-6 daily trips, mainly in the Gothenburg area in Sweden, while available for occasional trips to Denmark. However, the good news has travelled fast since its first delivery in early September, and interest across Europe for similar solutions is rising.
