TRL Space

We are thrilled to announce that the TROLL spacecraft has been successfully integrated in its deployer and is now on its way to the launch site! This marks a major step forward in our mission to grow strong on a space market. With the launch scheduled for early November, our team’s hard work and dedication are about to take off - literally! Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to this exciting journey.

One of the main tests which TROLL needs to undergo is Vibration testing. During this test we prove that our satellite can survive the launch and vibrations coming from the rocket. We successfully passed all the tests and TROLL is in perfect shape with all subsystems working. This means that we fulfill all the requirements. It wouldn't be possible without help from our partners. Special thanks goes to JD Dvořák, s.r.o. for their preparation of the facility and smooth performance of the test. We would also like to thank ČV Prototyp for their help with machining our vibration plate in a very quick time which allowed us to perform the test as planned. #TROLL #Hyperspectral #TRLSpaceTeam

 #TRLSpaceRwanda is busy these days. Last Sunday over 30 great African talents, bright young engineers, gathered in our offices in Norrsken East Africa for Space Makerthon. It was lead by our COO Tuyihimbaze Serge with support of Rwanda Space Agency represented by Georges KWIZERA. Our main aim was to identify the best talents among job applicants interested in becoming part of the TRL Space Rwanda engineering team and most importantly to contribute to establishment of local space community and ecosystem - which is an important part of our mission: We are building a complete local space ecosystem for manufacturing, integrating, deploying, operating and utilizing satellites and their services in Rwanda. TOGETHER. One of our company's key values and the reason why we are visiting our customers, partners, or suppliers so often. Our colleagues Jakub Zíka, Bianca Moldovanu, Tomáš Valuch and Michal Mičola attended the IRR meeting on the premises of our platform supplier ISISPACE Group in the Netherlands last week. Together with ISISpace colleagues we reviewed the current schedule, readiness of the flight HW and discussed the overall integration approach in detail.

TRL Space is about people. We have a great international team in Brno and Prague. They do an incredible job. But don’t be mistaken. Talents are equally spread around the world. Our spacecraft, TROLL, reached a major milestone in early January with the arrival of its platform core subsystems. Now fully integrated into the engineering model, we've kicked off an eagerly anticipated functional test campaign. Despite encountering a few technical hurdles, we're thrilled to report that the satellite is performing well. As we speak, we're actively expanding its capabilities by incorporating new hardware and payloads, ensuring it's primed to excel in its mission. Our sights are set on a target launch date this October, and we're making steady progress towards that goal. Stay tuned for more updates!

During the Czech Space Week we signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Tyvak International - a leading manufacturer of small satellites primarily serving European aerospace and defense industries. Tyvak International provides end-to-end satellite solutions by combining satellite design, production, launch planning, mission operations, and in-orbit support to meet the needs of the most demanding customers. TRL Space and Tyvak International are already in cooperation on multiple projects and this MoU is a gesture confirming that Tyvak International is open to deeper cooperation. More importantly, TRL Space is working on leveraging Tyvak International platforms - which is a unique opportunity, taking into account the quality and flight heritage they have!
