A new amazing challenge ahead of us: "Project TROP - Satellite constellation TRL Space Systems", co-funded by the European Union. This project aims to verify the technical feasibility and commercial potential of a research and development project aimed at creating a new satellite constellation. Stay tuned.

TROLL News Alert! 🚀 Exciting progress on our journey towards the first image! 🚀. Last weekend, the TROLL operations team was on fire 🔥. Successfully waking up our data processing unit for the first time and also executing the camera startup sequence 🎥. The telemetry is in green numbers and we can confirm the good health of both instruments ✅. With this solid foundation, we’re now shifting gears to fine-tune our AOCS settings, engage advanced sensors, and practice imaging maneuvers - all crucial steps before attempting our first image capture! We are thrilled to officially confirm that our TROLL satellite is alive and healthy and eager to communicate with us! 🚀 🌍 The first signal was detected by a Czech ground station Dartsat just 2–3 hours after deployment, and the first decoded beacon followed shortly after. Since then, we’ve had several successful passes over Leaf Space ground stations. 📡 📊 Telemetry data shows that the satellite is stable in its power budget and communication is performing well, even though it is slightly tumbling. We are currently collecting full-orbit data to analyze the system's behavior thoroughly. So far, everything is on track and looking promising! 🚀 ✅ A huge thanks to our amazing team and all our partners for their cooperation and support. 🚀 Exciting news from the TRL Space team! One of our proudest achievements will soon ascend to new heights. Our satellite, TROLL, is set to launch to a low Earth orbit approximately 500 km above the Earth. This marks the next milestone for TRL Space. After months of dedicated work, countless hours of engineering, and meticulous testing, TROLL is nearly ready to embark on its journey. The satellite will travel aboard a shared launch mission facilitated by a global leader in space transportation. Once the launcher reaches the designated orbit, TROLL will deploy from the Exopod Nova deployer provided by Exolaunch, ensuring a safe and precise release into space. 📊 Some exciting facts about TROLL and this mission: - 2 years of development journey from an idea to launch, - 5 mission-critical subsystems provided by ISISPACE Group, - 1637 commands and telemetry parameters accessible thanks to Bright Ascension Ltd's flight software, - Sub-5 metre hyperspectral imager delivered by Simera Sense, - 2 AI models for on-board image processing deployed by ZAITRA, - Up to 60 minutes of ground station contact time ensured by Leaf Space , - Up to L2 image processing on ground performed by World from Space, - 7 vibration test runs executed by JD Dvořák, s.r.o. facility, - 6 precision machined parts for optical alignment and thermal control delivered by Frentech Aerospace and Tecpa, - 3D printed metallic payload structure sintered by 3D2SPACE. This launch represents not just the culmination of technical expertise but also the dreams and ambitions of everyone at TRL Space. We can’t wait to share more details as we get closer to the big day! Our LUMI mission was selected for the European Space Agency's Exploration Program! The start of the first phase of the LUMI lunar mission (Lunar Mapper and Inspector) to explore the Moon's South Pole was officially announced yesterday. The cooperation agreement was signed at the TRL Space booth during the 7th annual Space Tech Expo Europe, the largest European trade fair dedicated to space technology by representatives of the participants in the project's consortium. In addition to Vaclav Havlicek from our company, the signatories included Mikołaj Podgórski from Scanway Space Marek Marusin from ZAITRA and Anna Thouvenin from Dawn Aerospace.

Czech Space Week, the largest festival of space activities in the Czech Republic, starting today. Since 2018, events have been taking place all over the Czech Republic every autumn for the professional and general public, students, seniors and families with children. And we are part of it as a partner again. You can meet our colleagues Jakub Macejko, Adam Hláčik, Petr Bohacek, Vaclav Havlicek and Jakub Janik on our booth during the largest space industry event in the Czech Republic, Space2Business, which will take place on November 5 - November 6, 2024.
