Business Development Specialist – Biotechnology

We are seeking candidates for the position of Business Development Specialist with a focus on monoclonal antibodies for our client - growing biotech company.

If you have a strong interest in both business and science, join us as a Business Development Specialist and help us commercialize this technology, identify new customers, and make deals with new partners.

Your Responsibilities:

• Conducting market research, analyzing the competitive landscape, and differentiating our product offering to shape our propositions and business models.
• Identifying new commercial customers for custom antibody development for immunodiagnostics and other applications.
• Supporting academic collaborations on relevant targets to develop our antibody catalog.
• Preparing presentations and offers for customers and partners, leading both technical and commercial negotiations.
• Creating marketing materials to support our propositions.
• Presenting at relevant industry conferences.
• Collaborating closely with the antibody R&D team and sales and marketing colleagues from other divisions.

 Requirements:

• PhD degree in life sciences (or equivalent experience) with previous experience in research or commercial use of antibodies or immunoassays.
• Previous business development, sales, or product marketing experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in a dynamic startup environment and assume senior responsibilities while also preparing materials hands-on.
• Ability to occasionally travel to customers and conferences abroad.
• Ability to draft and revise legal contracts and lead business negotiations is a plus.
• Solid project management skills and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and ability to work with CRM tools.
• Excellent English (Czech is an advantage but not required).
