I can only repeat what a client told me once: “One can see that the diversity of your team is paying off because you seem to think of all the problems we might encounter along the way before we even have them.” That's, for me, the value of diversity in teams. You tackle challenges from different perspectives from day 1, and prevent many issues later in the development process. It takes more time to reach decisions sometimes, but it saves you so much time in mending broken projects.
