One thing I’ve found helpful is to go through customer feedback from time to time and understand what they like and what could be improved. If we look deep enough, we will also understand many unstated needs which itself can define your product roadmap or product strategy. This journey will always be full of surprises and excitement :)

I'd prefer to use the RICE approach. A simple and effective way to choose. RICE = (Reach *Impact * Confidence) / Effort All you need is just to know Reach = how many customers would be happy to get it Impact = the impact on each customer Confidence = how confident I am that my hypothesis is correct Effort = the resources I need to do it Pure math

I would go for "We will do better" strategy. If one weighs business and Innovation. Better to put your money on products which are running in market. Go and study the best selling make, 1) Identify what are customer dissatisfaction points, work on it. 2) As Jaywant said rightly , do VOC and find what is unfulfilled need of customer. What is latent needs of the user in the product. This can be done through interviews and also by observing how product is used.
