🚨 Ampd Energy closes $27m funding round 🚨 Congratulations to Brandon Ng and the rest of the Ampd Energy team for closing their oversubscribed Series B led by Kibo Invest and Openspace. ⚡ Since our initial investment in 2021, Ampd has now scaled to over 300 power units deployed across multiple geographies and industries. 🌎 Just as importantly those units have abated over 69,000 tonnes of CO2 (or the equivalent of 88,000 ICE cars and significantly reduced urban air pollution Congratulations on this milestone and we can't wait to share with the world what you are planning in the years ahead. 🌍 The Business Breakthrough Barometer by WBCSD – World Business Council for Sustainable Development is now live! 📢 2150 is happy to contribute to this comprehensive report, which provides a global perspective on the pace of the net zero transition from leading businesses, and highlights a critical message: achieving net zero targets hinges on private sector investment. Key findings include:  📈 74% of businesses have increased their investments in the net zero transition over the past three years.  🚧 66% of business leaders state that the investment case and infrastructure are the main barriers to acceleration, with current policy and market structures not effectively rewarding investments in low-carbon technologies. ⬆  90% of those surveyed say they would invest more if governments implemented policies to address sector-specific barriers.
