Allow us to present Stefan Bieber for the International Coffee Convention on October 17 and 18, 2024 in Mannheim: Dr. Stefan Bieber, PhD, is a researcher at AFIN-TS GmbH and previously worked at the Chair of Urban Water Systems Engineering at the Technical University of Munich. His research focuses on environmental analytical chemistry, with expertise in chemical analysis, spectrometry, chromatography, and separation science. Dr. Bieber has contributed to the field through his work on the management of trace organic chemicals in water, as highlighted in his recent publication. Yesterday there was the impressive day with Non-Target Screening at ILMAC Conference and today a very interesting platform discussion about AI and ML tools in drug development. Topics like current solutions, use in commercial environment, future perspectives, funding, regulation and ethical questions were nicely be addressed. We really need that discussion about data handling with the available tools also intensively in NTS and more general in Instrumental Analysis. We are looking forward to address it at the forthcoming #ICNTS25 (and we will add a further topic: How to communicate it to the analytcal community and to the public).
